At Haviland House, we understand that every stage of dementia requires dedicated care. Our home is thoughtfully designed into five households, each tailored to a specific stage of dementia. Each household features spacious en-suite bedrooms, dining rooms, lounges with a homely feel, themed areas and bathing facilities. These spaces are designed to promote familiarity and independence, ensuring residents feel supported and cared for.

Haviland House offers a welcoming and homely environment that provides both comfort and support. Residents enjoy secure, landscaped gardens, an indoor garden-themed lounge for activities and relaxation and an ice cream kiosk for a touch of nostalgia. The home is fully accessible, with wheelchair-friendly spaces and lifts to all floors.

Activities, Wellbeing and Nutritious Meals

Life at Haviland House is enriched by a variety of engaging activities and high-quality meals. Weekly programmes include arts, crafts, chair yoga, live music, pet therapy, and reminiscence sessions. Delicious, nutritious meals are prepared by specialist caterers and tailored to dietary needs. Our Health and Wellbeing Coordinators ensure that activities are meaningful and enjoyable, promoting physical and mental well-being.

Haviland House has been rated good in our six-monthly internal mock CQC inspection by our designated Safety and Compliance Team and audited monthly as part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement. This is an internal mock inspection carried out by Guild Care to measure performance against CQC standards.
